PERSONAL PROFILE
I am Rajesh Pindoriya s/o Manjibhai Pindoriya. I was born on 15/06/1989 at Mirzapar, Bhuj-Kutch, Gujarat, India. My father is a farmer, and my mother is a housewife. I have complected my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi), Himachal Pradesh, India in Sept. 2020. My Ph.D. thesis topic is "Experimental Investigation of Acoustic Noise and Vibration of High Performance PMSM Drive". I worked as a Project Engineer at IIT Mandi from Aug. 2020 to Jun. 2022. My research areas are Power Electronics and Electrical Drives, Electric Vehicles and Hybrid Electric Vehicles, and Renewable Energy Sources. I am also working on Renewable Energy (Solar, and Wind energy). I am a dynamic researcher adept at Power Electronics & Electrical Drives
I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), Patiala, Punjab, India. My present interest and expertise have broadened lately after the completion of my Ph.D. degree. I am presently working in the area of special electrical machine’s control, such as PMSM, BLDC. SRM and SynRM drives, besides continuing my research work in the area of reduction of acoustic noise and vibration of special electrical machines and rotor position sensorless operation of PMSM and BLDC drives. One can say I am now working in a wider area of Power Electronics & Electrical Drives. I am also worked on the optimization of renewable energy generation, Solar PV, and Wind energy.
I published reputed journal papers in IEEE Transactions and International Conferences. I acquired Industrial Exposure through training and hands-on experience by developing an experimental setup for my Ph.D. thesis research work. This is how I could gain a good knowledge of Power Electronics, Electrical machines, Solid State DC Drives, and their Control Systems.
I am well versed with real-time Software and Hardware-in-the-loop toolboxes, such as Real-Time Digital Simulator (RTDS), dSPACE, OPAL-RT simulators, MATLAB/Simulink platform, C, Verilog, VHDL programming, and FPGA with system generator toolbox.
